Having created history by winning their seventh Leinster SFC title in a row in 2017, Dublin will get next season’s provincial campaign underway with a quarter-final fixture against Offaly or Wicklow.
With Dublin and Kildare on opposite sides of the draw, they will be fancied to meet in the final for a second year in a row, but the Lilywhites first have to focus on a quarter-final against Louth or Carlow.
The four counties that reached the semi-finals this year – Dublin, Kildare, Westmeath and Meath – were ‘seeded’ into the quarter-finals for the 2018 draw, which was announced on Thursday evening, 19th October, and kept apart from each other at that stage.
Dates and venues will be announced soon.
