Role Overview
As the Na Cait Óga and Performance Lead, the successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering Kilkenny GAA’s strategic vision for player and coach development. The role aligns with both national and county-level Player and Coach Pathways.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of Kilkenny’s player development strategy, ensuring quality, coherence, and consistency across both player and coach development programs.

Manage and monitor key processes such as recruitment of coaches and sports science specialists, data collection, performance monitoring, reporting, and budget oversight.

Support the County Head of Games and the Coaching & Games Committee in strategic planning and resource allocation.

Develop and manage a high-performance ecosystem, including enhanced sports science supports, talent pathways, and coach education initiatives.

Build strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders: county officers, coaching staff, schools (primary, post-primary, and third-level), clubs, and medical or athletic development providers.
