All Set For Round 3

The opening two rounds of the M. Donnelly Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling Tournament have delivered an exciting showcase of skill, teamwork, and determination across all four provinces.

With six games played by each side, it’s Munster who have set the pace, storming to the top of the table with a flawless record. Their attacking power has been spearheaded by the prolific Maurice Noonan, who currently leads the tournament goal-scoring charts and has been a constant threat in front of goal.

Hot on their heels are Ulster, who have impressed with their consistency and defensive strength, conceding just 30 total points across their six games. Their strong showing leaves them just behind Munster and very much in contention as the tournament progresses.

Despite their positions in the table, both Leinster and Connacht have shown tremendous spirit and flashes of individual brilliance. Alex Henerby has been a driving force for Leinster, while Stephen Melvin has stood out for Connacht, each delivering standout performances that have earned admiration across the board. Both provinces will be looking to build momentum in the upcoming rounds, and with talent like this on display, there’s plenty to play for.
