The Award 1 Coach Education course is the second award on the coaching pathway for Gaelic games. This course is aimed at coaches that have progressed through the Foundation Award and is actively coaching with a team.
Aimed – Coaches of Youth & Adult teams (Must be currently coaching U13 or older). Entry Requirements – Candidates will be over 18 years, Hold a Foundation Award qualifications, Have ample coaching experience and are currently coaching a team at this age level
Candidates must be Garda Vetted and have completed Safeguarding 1 (Child Protection in Sport Awareness programme)
Only coaches working with Dublin clubs can apply.
Course duration: 18 Hours (Single Code); 24 Hours (Dual)
Cost: €30
Online Time: 6 hours
Online Webinars will be sent to all registered users from Monday May 18th 2020. The webinars can be completed at any time convenient to you during each specified week. After watching a video presentation you will need to complete a short quiz to review what you have learned. All Webinars need to be completed in full prior to undertaking the practical sessions in order to be certified.
