Carlow, Longford and Offaly enjoyed wins in both codes today as the inter-county season resumed with games in the Bord Na Móna O’Byrne Cup, Walsh Cup and Kehoe Cup.
It was the first opportunity for some new managers to try out players in a competitive outing and the action continues this Wednesday evening with the next round of group games under lights at venues around the province.
