Eight games have already been held in this season’s Electric Ireland Leinster GAA Minor Hurling Championship and the semi-final pairings should be known by this Saturday evening, 29th April.
With Kilkenny and Dublin already through to the penultimate round, the two quarter-finals down for decision are:
Sat. 29th April: Wexford v Offaly at Innovate Wexford Park, 3pm
Sat. 29th April: Laois v Meath at O’Moore Park, Portlaoise, 3pm
In their only championship outing to date, Wexford lost heavily to Kilkenny last Saturday week at Nowlan Park. Offaly, too, lost their first game of the campaign to neighbours Laois but bounced back with a 1-15 to 1-9 victory over Kildare in the next round.
After their defeat of Offaly, Laois came up against reigning champions Dublin but had to settle for second best on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-8. Their opponents, Meath have already beaten Wicklow and Westmeath to reach this stage.
